Glo

This project was mainly looking at how to design a product but through a manufacturing lens. The objective was to design a unique lamp that had to give off a certain amount of lumens but also had to be a streamlined design where it can be easily manufactured.

The main design for Glo was creating an inner glow effect, making the lamp itself feel alive. This creates two separate lighting components to allow for customization of lighting auroras. The inner led lights can be different colors controlled by a separate switch and the main light is controlled by a central touch switch. The lamp itself was made from re-purposed hickory wood from a barn.
